Christmas in July

Merry Christmas everyone. Ohh…wait…that’s right…it’s July. Well I don’t completely understand what’s up with X-mas in July but everyone loves it. I guess it’s for those smart people who start early so they’re not rushing to put stuff together last minute. And everyone knows that’s not me :) So when I saw this week’s challenge over at Cup Cake Challenges I thought it was the perfect opportunity in making steps to non-procrastination. YAH ME. Ok so the challenge is “A Christmas Card”, and just by a kawink-adink the Colour Create Challenge this week is “Blue & White”. These challenges were meant for each other this week.

Here's my Christmas in July card

Cricut: “Stretch your imagination”, “Beyond Birthdays”
Spellbinders: Impressabilities “paisley”, Nestabilities “Labels 4”
Versamark: Dazzle “frost”

The extra this week at Colour Create Challenge was to go vintage. I thought nothing was more vintage for Christmas then a still house wintery setting. This card came out to be a window, shadow box thingy. Just popped the window off of the card with 3D dots. I thought it came out looking cool. I wanted to stick to the color theme and I had the perfect dark dark blue in my stash. Also I remembered I had the new Versamark with glitter. I used it just as a highlight. It doesn't come across too good in the photos but I love it. If you like what Versamark does then you've got to get this.
