May Arts/LYB/Xyron blog hop (Gardening kit)

Talking about enjoying fabulousness.  Three great companies are getting together for one amazing week of inspiration galore.  You'll find lots of awesome May Arts Ribbon with pretty Little Yellow Bicycle goodies and all held together with amazing Xyron adhesive.

Today I'm sharing this little gardening kit for the hop.

Every summer my family grows a little garden.  Something about the bright sunshine just puts us into the gardening mood.  SO how perfect would it be to handout fabulous gardening kits so others can enjoy the sunshine with their families too.

What's in the kit.
Piece by piece and some cool ideas.

Seeds
What's a gardening kit without seeds?
IDEA #1: For an easy way to match seed packets to the gifts color scheme.  Just put them into a glassine bag and decorate the top.  You will still be able to see what pretties will be growing.

Planter labels
IDEA #2: For an easy clip-able planter tag, decorate a clothespin.  Planter labels don't always have to say what plant is growing.  How about just simply a pretty statement piece.

Gardening journal
Something to keep track of all the progress your little garden will make.
 The inside
IDEA #3: Upcycle your seed packets to make little pockets in your gardening journal.  Just cut the top and add an insert.

Gardening gloves
IDEA #4:  Add a pair of customized gardening gloves to the gift.  Just pick one of your favorite May Arts Ribbon and sew them onto the bottom of a pair of gloves.
I found these gloves in the dollar bin but look how un-dollarish they look now.  These gloves are made up of an elastic material and the ribbon I chose is not.  The look is possible by gently stretching the glove as you sew the ribbon on.  Leave the ribbon on the spool as you sew and just cut when you come to the end.

LYB Pattern paper, stickers, wood labels and accents from the the "Poppy" collection.
Xyron "Teresa Collins Mega Runner", "5inch create-a-sticker" and "3/16inch dots"

For more inspiration stop by the May Arts Ribbon blog, Ribbonista Karen Baker's blog, the Little Yellow Bicycle blog and the Xyron blog.  There will be more then one prize given out for this hop so comment along on each hop location.  You could win three spools of your chose in ribbon or the grand prize of goodies from all three companies.
Alright, now go out there and enjoy the sunshine!
