May Arts Ribbon and Stampendous Hop

It's a whole week of all kinds of mix media ribbony fun over on the May Art Ribbon blog.
The ribbonistas are bringing you inspiration from two awesome crafting companies.  Stampendous and May Arts Ribbon.  Hop along with us everyday for super cool ideas and a giveaway.
Stop by HERE for details.
Today I'm sharing this layout using some cool products from both companies.
I seriously only use Stampendous embossing powders.  They are so great and easy to work with.
I wanted to highlight the awesome May Arts Ribbon sequins hearts so I decided to use some embossing powder to make them POP.  Yup, those outlined hearts aren't paint.  It was made using a watermark pen and embossed in black.
Stampendous also has a new line called "Stack Art Kraftboard".  They are super cool layered chipboard pieces that comes with a matching adhesive sheet.  No more getting your hands all sticky.  Below you can see four different ways you can cover them.  The black is embossed with powder.  Then I covered one with May Arts Burlap ribbon.  The wings are simply painted and the heart was embellished with glitter.
Don't forget to stop by the May Arts Ribbon blog HERE.
Also check out my ribbony sister Karen Baker who's also sharing today.

I haven't seen these chipboard pieces but I'll be watching for them. It's a wonderful idea to have the matching sticky sheets so you don't have to get glue fingers when putting glitter on something. Your project is great.

I like the idea with the embossing pen. I have one in a drawer and have never used it, now I know what to do with it.
