A Fairy Tale

I heard about this new sketch challenge and had to participate. Check out their blog on my sidebar “Midnight Madness”. So here's my take on this weeks challenge.....

Cricut: Storybook
Ribbon: Marcella
Making Memories: Grommet
Pens: Copics & Sakura Glaze
Ink: VersaColor (pinecone, brown), Mementos (desert sand)
Digi image: Elizabeth O. Dulemba

I was on the web before summer looking for things to do with my kids. I came across some coloring book pages and fell in love with this cute little fairy reading a fairy tale. Makes me just say Awwwe. It’s from a book illustrator/author name Elizabeth O. Dulemba and the image is a coloring book page. Find it here… http://dulemba.com/index_ColoringPages.html

The back text is a page from “Peter Pan”. The mother of fairy tales. It’s actually the part where Peter is telling Wendy about fairies. I just made a copy and stamped the front of the text with ink.

Here's the sketch

OMG..Missbliss, the card you made is soooooo creative and just flat out A-DOR-A-BLE!! You rocked the sketch. You asked if you did it right? Yes, the sketch card is fantastic, you have the logo up, you are a follower, I think you forgot the direct hyperlink in your comments back to the Midnight Madness blog, but other than that..Great job :) Thank you for joining us this week. You do beautiful work. I love this card. Very creative.

We were out in Honolulu for a few years too. My daughter was born there. We miss it, and she would love to go back sometime. Lots of beautiful memories from there.

Thank you so much for playing with us at the MMSC this week!
