 I've been stalking this challenge site for sometime now and finally decided to get my desk messy with one of their challenges.  And it's clear to see why...

Young Crafters Unite!

 Just picked up this Prima printed transparency for half off at the local scrap store.  Talk about score!!!  And it made the perfect CAS accent.

Tuesday Trigger: Home Sweet Home

 I'm playing with Canvas again!

This time it's embossed...ohhh ahhh...It's easy to do but first here's a looksy of the card.

 (tried to get a better angle so you can see the embossing.  It's more pronounced in person, I promise)

Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger: Home Sweet Home

Isn't it all things warm-fully home-made and shabby.

TIP:

 Embossing fabric (or in this case canvas) can be tricky...or is it?  If you just roll it through and emboss it without treating it, the embossing will fade.  So what's to do?  Add a layer of "Mod Podge" to the front surface and let dry.  If your an impatient Betty like I am, you  can rush the drying time by using your heat embossing tool.  The surface will curl but once you roll it through it flattens out.

My man had the week off and we've been spending some much need QT together as a family.  But back to work he went and now I'm about to get my craft on!!!

ric#5 - Honor Spring 2012

Feeling a little square...a little blue!

 Medallions are soo in in the card making world and I wanted to jump into the craze.  But being the rebel that I am, I did mines with squares.

 This card set was inspired by Runway Inspired Challenge #5.
