Twisted Sketch #77

Tomorrow is Thanksgivings day and of course most of us will be spending time with our family's. Which makes this weeks "twist" at
sooo perfect...This weeks twist is "family"

So I personally don't like taking photos of myself and it's kinda sad but we don't have a family photo!!! Terrible I know, So this picture of me rubbing my eyes, my son taking off his shirt, and my daughters back turned to the camera is

Cricut Cardz Challenge #51

Thanksgivings day is like a week away now and Christmas shopping time is just around the corner. blahhh...I both love it and hate it
anyways it's Wednesday and you know what that means
For challenge #51, make a card for Thanksgiving using any cartridges you'd like and the colors blue, brown, orange, yellow and white ONLY

I almost didn't add the blue, but found this ribbon and I love how it just adds a little POP to the back :)

headed for snow

Our trip to California last winter was awesome and of course every time we're there that time of the year we have to make a trip up to Big Bear & Green Valley Lake. It's about a 45min drive from Grandmas house in GT. Love it there...the snow is sooo nice and we just have a blast.
This first layout is a tribute to our drive up the mountains. You can see the snow covered tips from the the town and then where we ended up.

This was little Bobo's first trip to the snow and even though he was freezing his little buns he didn't want to go...he was having way to much fun. And of course a snowball fight is a must. This layout is of Ea & Bobo just having some good 'ol cold fun!!!

A Cricut Christmas card Challenge

I busted out my Cricut this week...
Christmas is coming and so is the time for Christmas cards. I got three done this week with the help of some challenge blogs out there in blog land.
sooo here they are :)
this one is for the
challenge # 50, make a card for Christmas, using the card feature from any cartridges you'd like, using any colors you'd like
I used a snowflake cut from "A child's year"
To make it hang I cut it out 2x & then another 2x on flip, matched all the sides and fold down the middle, glued half then added fishing string down the middle and glued the rest.
This little dog is for
love love "create a critter" and the challenge this week was to use this cute little Dalmatian.
the stockings are from "paper pups" & the hat from "paper doll dress up"

This last one is for
this week was a color and shape challenge
Challenge #35: Use the color GREEN and a CIRCLE shape
The card is cut from "wild card", the saying from "Beyond Birthdays", the flourishes are "storybook" and the cute cute little winter porcupine is "Create a Critter"

Polaris had the CUTEST clothes & shoes ever... and every time I have a chance I got a picture.
I found this picture in my stash and it brought back so much memories...

Cricut Cardz Challenge #49

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"
Halloween is over and now Christmas is coming
(AHHHHHHHH) got to get ready
So with that, it's time for
For challenge # 49, make a card for Christmas with something that starts with the letter "S" (Santa, snowflake, sled, sleigh, squirrel, etc). Use any cartridges you'd like and any colors you'd like.
Christmas is full of "S"s so this challenge should be easy pesy
Obviously a Hawaiian Christmas looks like non other so my "S" is Sun, Surf, & Sand
