a squiggle spring

Today is beautiful
The sun is shinning and there’s a nice breeze
just another perfect Hawaiian day :)
I know it's a little strange but the weather was totally the inspiration for this project
This is going to look so good with all my Easter decorations I just put out yesterday.
Just jazzed-up a plastic wine cup (please don't use glass) with ribbon along the rim, paper flowers, and of course a cute little stamp.
And then I added a paper windmill because nothing says spring like a bright colored windmill :)
(for instructions on the windmill click HERE)
Then filled the cup with some plastic ice, fake flowers, and mini eggs to make it more stable & a little more cuter. Hay you could also add some Easter candy on top, YUMMY!!
This is also for Squiggle stamps March challenge:
{SPRING}
Cute lil’Daisy and her blinged out bunny are perfect for spring time, don’t cha’think
Layered daisy's clothes and glitterfied her bunny

playing with art

It's a Sketchy Thursdays sketch
One of are favorite places to visit in LA is
"La Brea Tar Pits"
What can I say we love tar :)
and also all the awesome animals they dig up out of it.

So this last time we took a walk around the park and on the other side are these big sculptures apart of the LA art museum.
Naturally too kids (and being big kids are selves) art appreciation comes in the form of being hands-on. So we had to check them out up close which of course means getting all over them.
They loved it and soo did we :)

What a week it's been
I know, it's been a week since my last post

and look what I found

I entered their site and was soooo inspired

Pixy stixs are awesome

It's a Sketchy Thursday happening on a Wednesday :)

Don't you love grandparents!
always providing a sugar rush so your kids can spaz-out :)
Here are mines sitting on my parents porch enjoying just that.
SUCH FUN
Had to channel my inner child for this page.
Colored in traced stars with crayons & added flourishes in orange for that extra touch.

When my little girl needed a sleep set for school I decided to make it for her and she decided to help me.
She's "Sew" cute (clever play on words hah)
anyways here we are putting down pins thought this was the perfect pictures for the "fabric" twist this week and of course I had to add sewing on this page :)

My daughter had her 5th birthday yesterday and now she's a big girl
Made this LO of her beautiful SMILE

Went all "pink paislee" on this page. Everything here was made with Pink Paislee products: Paper, brads, ribbon, stickers, rub-ons, chip board die-cuts, and of course my cricut: storybook for the SMILE & black flourishes.

To check-out Pink Paislee products for your self click here.

Here's a close up of the ribbon flower. For info on how to make them click here.

Happy Girls Day

Happy Girls Day to all you Ladies out there :)
Girls day is a Japanese tradition and living in Hawaii we celebrate it every
March thirdd
In honor of girls day today I made these card/hanger thingies
for my Mom and Grandma
and two little mini ones for my baby girl

I love the way these turned out and to think I did it all with one cricut cart :)
Cricut: Pagoda

So I cut two shadow cuts of the Kimono and just glued the top, that way you can still open it from the bottom and write your message.

I added a ribbon on the top so it could be hung up. The tag feature added just the right touch.

Oh ah and because it opens on the bottom it stands up too :)

My golden boy

For some reason my youngest son has many nicknames
I sometimes refer to him as
"My golden boy"
This is because he's the only one with those cute golden locks in his hair
All of my kids turned out looking so different
It's funny that my littlest is my lightest
