Twisted Sketch #69

What's up all you scrapper dudes out there :)
this week is feeling groovy (ok maybe just I am)
Sketch #69 is up and it's awesome as always and the twist this week is
Flower- anyway, anyhow
The picture of my niece Lori and my Polaris next to this bush we found with huge yellow flowers on them. And of course they had to throw up peace signs :)
Isn't this pattern paper so perfect for this layout!!! I love it...It's from "little yellow bicycle" and the line is called "free spirit". Here's a cheep trick: The centers of the flowers are cut from the pattern paper...I used the area in back of my photo..no need to waste

The DT did an awesome job this week so go check them out then come play along...I know we all got a stash of paper flowers, so pull'um out and get scrapping :) Don't forget to get your Layout loaded by next week Tuesday....

PEACE OUT

Twisted Sketch #68

Everywhere you look now in the scrapping world people are going vintage. And so are our
that's right this weeks
Twisted Sketch #68
with the twist being: Vintage
So here's my take on the challengeHere's an old picture of my daughter. It seems like this was such along time ago. I took my vintage as a vibe. The paper from prima was perfect and so were the bombshell stamp butterflies.

OK all...You must play in this challenge. Me I'm not too good doing vintage so I want to see all of your awesome work.

Don't forget to check out what the DT did because it is awesome as usual and link up your layout by Tuesday

Cricut Cardz Challenge #43 & a little baby news

It's
so what's the challenge?
Well here it is...
Challenge #43, make a card for a new baby using any cartridges you'd like, and the colors green, orange, yellow and white ONLY
Cricut: "New Arrival"
Decided to make these cards into little tags so you could hang them on a gift.
BABY...Did someone say NEW BABY?
Yes besides the challenge I've been doing a lot of thinking about babies these days.
Why...Well because soon my family will be adding to it one more little baby.
That's right I'm pregnant (5 months actually) and It was a total surprise.
Just thinking about me having four children is like WOW that's a lot of kids!!!
But what can I say I love them all
OK enough of my rambling
Go check out the rest of the DT's work and don't forget to link up you cards by

Twisted Sketch #67

It's Thursday and you know what that means...time for
The sketch this week is awesome & the twist is sure to inspire super cute layouts.
So what's the twist?
This week it's "Button-any how, any way"

Pattern Paper: Doodlebug, Cricut:Doodletype

This picture is of my little girl (far right)when she was a baby with her two cousins. Lori who is 7months older & Lily who's 4months younger. They're too cute even with their lost & grumpy faces.

The Design team did an awesome job this week with lots of button inspiration so head on over to Twisted Sketches and don't forget to link up your creation by next week Thursday :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #42

Ok it's time for
and this one is witching!!!
(like b*tching but with a witch...HAHA...I'm a weirdo, I know)
but the challenge this week is "to make a Halloween card using any cartridge or colors you want"

I wanted to go with a silhouette look with a witch flying past the moon and then I decided to put a paper pleat around the edge…but...ahh…I don’t know if that was the best decision. The pleating is kinda off :(
Anyhoo I used “A Child’s Year” for the witch and “Wild Cards” for the tree, saying, and circle.

The DT projects are way better so check them out and don't forget to link up your projects by Tuesday September 21.

Have a "witching day"

Twisted Sketch #66

I had an awesome day at the beach yesterday with my family. Sounds weird but for some reason we always end up going in the afternoon. The water is all warmed up from the sun, People are leaving to go home, and best of all we get to watch the sunset. Oh yah and the kids end up getting a good sleep when we get home :)
It's the best

So all my rambling has a point. Here's a old picture of me and my daughter at the beach. No swimming on that day, we just went to watch the sunset.
This is for
The twist is "fabric"
My fabric piece was from some vintage scraps I had forever. It's totally dramatic so I made the LO in general super simple.

Don't forget to play along and check back on Wednesday for Twisted Sketch #67 :)

Twisted Sketch #65

Happy Tuesday
It's time for....
Twisted Sketch #65
I love the twist this week
"metal"
Super cool right and the sketch this week is equally awesome
My youngest boy has awesome stability and was skateboarding when he was two.
He's chubby little face looks so cute on the board.

For my "metal" I twisted some wire to make a cool little strip and of course the staples :)

Ok now don't forget to check out the sketch and play along with us. Have an awesome Thursday :)
